Yaciel Martinez was born on August 14, 1978 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. Early in his life his family recognized and encouraged his natural talents for the visual arts. He dedicated most of his free time to drawing and painting. When not creating art he practiced the Martial Arts which helped him maintain his self discipline throughout High School.
